I Just Don't Get This

Have you ever tweeted? I never have, and never intend to. This video pretty much explains how I feel about Twitter...

I'd rather spend my time making a twilt.

I don't get it either. I don't Twitter, don't facebook, don't myspace, don't Bebo, nothing, just my blog. I think thats more than enough. Love that video clip, I'll show that to DH and the kids when they get home :-)

I have a twitter site. Do not seem to know what to do with it. Read Jack Coleman's blog (HRG-Noah Bennet on Heroes and the first Steven on Dynasty long long time ago.) I think I have the same take on it that he does, it is for people who do not have a life. Or think everyone cares about their every random thought, because that is all 140 characters will hold.

He is such an eloquent writer-140 characters ... random incomplete thought. Twitter not a good match for him.

I don't twitter either...does anyone (besides my husband) really care that dinner is in the oven or that I just finished doing the laundry?

Another non tweeter here.

I spent a few hours last week googling to find out just what twitter was. I can't for the life of me see what the big deal is. Who cares what people you don't even know are thinking about?

No facebook here either.

I guess I am just an old fuddy dud.

I have to try everything because I still have "nerd" friends from my previous life in the Silicon Valley.

The applications I've seen for Twitter that actually seem useful are headlines from newspapers, breaking news during emergencies like fires and updates for events like the Tour de France when the riders post.

"Household" tribble is boring to me, though.

I hope you're having a great day.

Hilarious. Confirms my choice NOT to twitter. :)
