More From the Files

Continuing with my showing of my B.B. (Before Blog) quilts...this one is from August 2006.

This was one of my favorite ones to make. It was a bug jar pattern using 35 different bug fabrics. This quilt was on display during my guild's 2006 exhibit and it was sold to a local resident for his grandson. I quilted it on my HQ16 in a meandering pattern using variegated thread.

That's adorable! I've been collection I Spy fabrics that would look so cute in jars. I'll have to find that pattern.

one of these days I will use my bug fabrics. I had fun when I made a candy jar quilt for my sister. I put lots of other items on the shelves as well as candy. She loves it.

Anya, I adore the bug jar quilt, I have recently seen one at a local quilt show. It had some variations that included golf balls, tees and other interesting fabrics. Do you know it this pattern is still available? I would love to have it for my stash.

I always meant to do one of those bug quilts ~ one of the many things I never got around to. It's really cute though.
