Back To School

This is another one of my friend Moddy's quilts that she's making for family members this year. I just quilted a small meander in the alphabet blocks and then did a larger meander throughout the rest of the quilt.

The blank block needed a little something extra, so I tried my skill at cursive writing on my HQ16....

I LOVE this! You know I'm a bright fabric quilter so always love seeing other people's work.
I'm sure it will be treasured for years.
Having been commenting to much, but am keeping track of you and yours.

Sweet quilt, great job with the quilting! I love the cursive abc, that is a wonderful addition! Have a great weekend, I am sure it is beautiful in your part of PA!

That Moddy lady just doesn't know how to slow down! One treasure after another for her family.

Lovely quilting, but I'm not surprised at all. The cursive a-b-c is cute as can be. I like to hide words in my quilting now and then-- like "Eagle Scout" for one nephew, "Cool Kid" for another nephew, "little princess" for a niece; etc. I don't always tell them what I quilted and wait for it to be discovered. If it isn't seen and mentioned, then it's my little secret.
