Quilting in the City

One of the fun things that I got to do when I was in New York City last week to see the Infinite Variety Quilt Exhibit was to visit a real live NYC quilt shop.

Lots of bright fabrics and patterns. I didn't buy anything, but I suppose I could have, even if I am on a fabric diet. Remember, fabric that you buy when you're visiting somewhere is not a fabric purchase, it's a souvenir purchase.

I have been there. Nice little shop. I agree it is a souvenir purchase.

looks cute - it is hard to not make a purchase when you go in a quilt shop so I have found this past year or so it is better to just not step foot in them or I do come out with something.

I'm going to remember your tricky, yet wonderful logic when I go on a trip at the end of this month. I don't need another inch of fabric or another book in my house, but I have to buy something. I'll definitely remember your "It's a souvenir" logic. Love it!
Looks like a fun shop you found in NYC.
