I Want One of These Shirts!

Some of you may have seen talk about this on other quilting blogs, but for those who haven't, take a look at this. The 2014 Winter Olympics will be held in Sochi, Russia and just recently the Organizing Committee unveiled the Look of the Games. The concept revolves around "the principle of the patchwork quilt -- a combination of 16 designs representing the most famous traditional Russian arts and crafts".

As you take a look at the other photos on this link, you'll see that Russians love color...I guess that explains my fabric choices....it's in my blood!

Now all I have to do is figure out how to get to the Olympics....

I too love the look! I just wonder if my body could stand such a formfitting tee! The old body ain't what it used to be...but I do dream of those days.

I love the look the 2014 olympics will be having, I saw some photos on another blog but I don't remember where - I have feeling I will be ordering some of the items this time. I will have to look for the sale site.

I love the genius who came up with including Quilting in the Olympics....even if on the flags :) Very cool shirts indeed...I'd like to have one too!

Smiles,
Kelly

I went to the first link you gave for more info, and I would love one of those cars! But I fear it's just a little model.
I'll be watching these games with more interest, just cuz of the quilt connection we're seeing.
Good luck with figuring out how to get there. That's on my bucket list -- attend Olympic events somewhere.
