Getting Ready: Part 2

A couple of weeks ago, I spent a wonderful quilters' day out with friends and bought this wide batik backing for my Jane Stickle quilt at Verna's Fabrics in Mifflinburg, PA.

Wild and crazy, isn't it?

Beautiful and so colourful. I took a good look at your picture of the completed quilt and can only admire. While I was reading, I was wondering how long it would take to make something like that because my quilt is taking forever! Then I saw you said years, not months. Reading your posts, it always sounds like you put them together in weeks, but it takes me so long just to make one block, you see. I wondered if I was the only one.
Certainly not worth rushing them, is it and life comes along in between.
I would like to know how long you spend, on average, each day, doing your quilting though?
Well done and congratulations.
