Moosewood Monday

Yes, I'm on a Moosewood kick...

Here's another top-notch recipe from my favorite restaurant, Moosewood. This is Very Creamy Vegetable Chowder -- the recipe can be found here. Lots of vegetables -- onions, carrots, celery, potatoes, green beans, zucchini, yellow squash, red peppers, and green peas. The only change I made was to use some chicken broth instead of veggie broth. And I used my immersion blender to mix it all together (I removed two cups of the veggies before blending and added them afterward because we like a few chunks in our cream soups). Another keeper recipe.

Thanks for highlighting these delicious Moosewood recipes! I made the sweet potato cabbage soup last week and loved it. I'll try this one, too. I still have several Moosewood cookbooks; you've motivated me to get them out and start browsing.

Nothing wrong with a good Moosewood kick! This looks delish. I need to get my Moosewood recipe book out again.
