Emotional Quilting

I've been working on a couple of projects recently that have been tough on the emotions. The photos below are for a group project in my guild. We're making a guild banner that incorporates a center panel that was made in the very early years of our guild (first meeting was in 1998) by one of our founders (MJ). MJ was a very inspiring woman and our guild felt a great loss when she passed away last August. It will be a wonderful tribute to her when the banner is finished. Eventually, I'll post photos when it's complete, so stay tuned.

I think she would be so pleased :) Her heart was so humble and I think she would be praising all of you for making the banner and thanking you for the work....then telling you what a nice job you did.
