August Finish

In preparation for my guild's September exhibit, I managed to finally finish this quilt. The fabric is typical Russian fairy-tale-themed artwork. Much too pretty to cut up into little pieces, so this pattern was just perfect. For info on the pattern (Shenandoah), click here.

A couple of closeups to show the fabric and a little quilting...

Very pretty! I've had this pattern for a couple of years and have just been waiting for the right large scale print to jump out and say "ME, ME, ME". You chose well.

Like Sara, I have this pattern too, and am waiting for just the right fabric. Your version is lovely!

What an absolutely ideal pattern for that fabric. It is breathtaking the way you have used it. I adore it!
