I finally discovered whose yummy treats I've been munching on at a few guild events over the last several years. My friend Dori recently shared her recipe for this quick and easy goodie.
Place one candy melting wafer on top of a square or mini pretzel on a cookie sheet. Place in a 200-degree oven for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from oven and quickly add an M&M or other little candy on top.
Oh YEAH, I discovered these this year but mine are a tad different. I place a Rolo candy (chocolate covered caramel) on the pretzel and place in a 300 degree oven for 3-4 min. then 'mush' a pecan half into the Rolo. I put mine in the fridge for awhile to firm up before serving. YUMMY!!
Yum...sweet and salty! Sounds delicious.
ReplyDeleteSounds so good...and you're right easy. Love pretzels with chocolate.
ReplyDeleteI like that idea! Quick and easy.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh those look dangerous!!!

"Candy melting wafer?"
ReplyDeleteI don't have a clue. Is that what it says on the package or is it a generic name for any kind of chocolate candy like a Kiss?
I bet my husband would love these.

ReplyDeleteI think I might have been able to successfully resist these until Sherrill wrote about using Rolos instead of candy wafers. I'm a goner now.
