OK, now it's back to the main topic of this blog -- Quilting!
This is "TR12, Jane's Oak", an intermediate-level triangle in which I used the raw-edge machine buttonhole-stitch applique method for the leaf and the bottom curved piece.
I like the look of your block but I can't see it properly. I clicked on the picture to see the detail, but nothing happened. As a novice quilter, I wanted to see how you'd done the curves. I haven't tried curves yet and I am intrigued as to how to go about it. Love your Blog and your quilts and the picture of yourself as a child. Blessings, Star
I think this is my favorite of your triangles so far! Love these fabrics. Like Star I wanted to see a close up to check out the buttonhole-stitch. I was able to click on the picture but it came up with a small one.
These colors are just gorgeous!! Great block.

ReplyDeleteExcellent block as usual! I went back a few posts as I've not been online for a bit.
ReplyDeleteI love your photos, makes me want to move to PA.
Beautiful!! Love, love batiks..
ReplyDeleteThe darker purple for the leaf is perfect. It looks as though you fussy cut.
