While visiting family in Asheville, NC this past Thanksgiving, I spent some time visiting the city's famous art district. I find I'm drawn to artistic pieces that are filled with lots and lots of color, and so it's no surprise that I especially enjoyed Jonas Gerard's gallery.
This quotation was hanging on the wall of the gallery...and I love, love, love that visitors were encouraged to touch the artwork. As quilters, we all know how healing the touch of a quilt is, so it makes sense that touching other artwork is good for us as well.
