Sweat Shop

Thankfully, the weather has been great these last few days and my quilting studio is not literally a "sweat"shop. However, I have been busy working away at a few quilts...this is the latest one ready to be quilted. Then comes the binding for three quilts...miles and miles of binding...thank goodness for Netflix.

This is really pretty! You definitely don't need a sweat shop. I had that for a little while when my AC refused to work properly. Not fun!

It has been really hot here too. My little bonus is my sewing area is in the basement where it is cool in the summer. Downside is, it is also cold in the winter.

Soon you will be able to quilt without sweating....I hear it should be cooling off.

Smiles,
Kelly

I recognize the dotty fabric. It's such a fun, showy line of fabric and perfect with these geometric blocks. A break in the humidity certainly makes working on "blankets" (as my neighbor calls them) a little less sweaty & uncomfortable.

The quilt is very pretty but I don't recognise what that machine is above it? Please could you explain to me what it is and what it is doing? Thanks

Such a gorgeous quilt Anya!! I love the polka dot fabrics, looks like Michael Miller's Fairy frost polka dot version. Can't wait to see how you quilt it.
