I Can't Help Myself

Sometimes when I make bias striped binding, I like to try to match the design along the adjoining diagonal seams. Since the pattern of the stripes on this fabric is so wide, it would have looked funny if I didn't try to match the seams. This method takes a bit more time and fabric, but it will make for a much nicer look on the finished binding around the quilt.

That's creative, I will have to try that, although I hardly ever cut mine in the bias.

I'm not surprised one bit you would take the time and use your skill to match up the binding. But then again....I know some of your teachers :)
