Two Hearts Are Better Than One

When I saw this mug in O'Susannah's Quilt Shop in Watkins Glen, NY a couple of weeks ago, I just had to have it! My quilt hasn't been sewn together yet; it's still on the design wall, but I hope to get to it soon.

There's Always Something

I finished quilting a quick charity quilt yesterday, did the machine stitching of the binding, and was getting ready to hand stitch it down, when I noticed something that wasn't quite right...

I have no clue how or when that happened, but I couldn't leave it that way, so I had to unstitch about a foot of the binding, cut out the offending section, and then add another piece of binding in its place. It wasn't hard, just not fun. But I'm glad I noticed it before I did the hand stitiching.

Something New

I finally have another new quilt top in the works. Right now, it's just on my design wall, but I hope to get started sewing the top this week.
