Today's post is for all the students who unfortunately live in school districts like mine where they will not be seeing this live. Our school district administration could learn a thing or two from it. So could the parents.
Indeed. I'm not sure when it became such a problem for children to hear the president about staying in school. Not so many years ago, it was a privilege to hear the president in any form, about any message.
I can remember how excited everyone was to watching a presidential speech. Many of our classrooms would merge into one room while everyone watched the broadcast, followed by a discussion. Somewhere along the line our loyalty has gotten misdirected.
My husband Gary and I live just outside of Wellsboro, PA. We left the rat race of Northern Virginia in 1997 and never looked back. Oh yes, did I mention that I am a quiltoholic?
