This is "LS4, Virginia's Kite", an advanced-level triangle which I paper pieced and also used the raw-edge machine-buttonhole stitch method of applique.
You must be so excited getting near the end. I am such a sucker for batiks. I can only dream of having your patience to work on a project like this. I can't wait to see it all complete as I know it is going to be gorgeous!
Just caught up with blog posts after the Christmas marathon and I am amazed by your progress. That light at the end of the tunnel is getting big and bright!
My husband Gary and I live just outside of Wellsboro, PA. We left the rat race of Northern Virginia in 1997 and never looked back. Oh yes, did I mention that I am a quiltoholic?
