Now that I've advanced the quilt to work on rows 7 and 8, the top is no longer dragging all over the floor (the batting still is, but won't be for long)!
Some people roll their quilt tops onto the rollers, but I prefer to float the tops, which is why they sometimes drag on the floor a bit at first.

sometimes I float sometimes I roll....but it's a great feeling when the top or batt is finally off the floor on a big one!!
