My faithful Bernina is now home after a good cleaning and servicing.
I couldn't wait to try it out, so I quickly made up the second set of blocks for the swap that I blogged about yesterday. This set is made from fabrics in my guild's stash...one of them is a Hoffman. Although the stash has a good amount of Joann's and Walmart fabrics, I'm often amazed at how many quilt-shop quality fabrics are in there. I guess there are some quilters who like to donate fabric because that gives them a good excuse to go out and buy more!

glad you sewing machine is working now. I saw the postcard that you made - for Nanci I think - or was it someone else? I have lost track - anyway it was cool!

It is a great excuse for sure! Glad you have your baby home and it is working well.
Welcome home to your *baby*, nothing better then a well cleaned machine! I like your blocks, may I ask what size are the squares to create the Nine Patch? A friend of a friend visiting from Canada visited the OGP shop in Montousville and absolutely fell in love with the fabrics! She told me that at her own local quilt shop, she pays $18.00 per yd...makes ours sound pretty resonable, huh! Have a great day!
Hey! just found your blog from the three-by-three pool on flickr. happy to find a fellow swapper's blog!
What beautiful fabric. I can just see a whole quilt made from this block. It would look like a beautiful field of flowers surrounded by blue sky.
Best regards,
Darilyn
Very pretty nine patch - I hope I get one of these!
