Is This the North Pole?

This is what we woke up to this morning here in north-central Pennsylvania. I suspect you'll be seeing a lot of photos like this on PA blogs today.

We have about 4 inches so far -- the latest forecast I saw is for 5-7 inches by Saturday morning. The pine trees are used to this, but many of the deciduous trees still have their leaves, so the weight is a bit much for them. Thankfully the roads are just fine so far.

And to think...this is what the lake near our house looked like just 10 days ago!

Even though our sheltie thinks this weather is just fine, I certainly hope the weather people are correct about their forecast for 65 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday...

Oh my owrd, Anya - I can totally relate. Hubby and I grew up just over the PA border, in Olean, New York - snowbelt country.

OMG - who would want that this early - what is going on with weather this year. I hope it melts fast for you before trees break from the added weight to the leaves.

You are obviously from heartier stock than I am.

I'd have to hibernate until next spring.

Stay warm. Sending tropical breezes your way.

(It sure looks pretty, though.) ;)

We had a bit of snow this morning but it's gone now (thankfully). (We live in a valley). Enjoy!

Absolutely beautiful! Texas weather changes like that often too. Maybe not to that extreme, but each day is a new weather forecast around here lately! Jenn

Oh it looks like a winter wonderland, I'm sure by next March you will have your fill of cold and snow, ice and sleet! Send some of that cold south, and I will send some sunhine and heat your way!

Oh this is beautiful. It is so chilly here but not like that. I would love to be snowed in as long as I had some coke, goodies to eat and coffee and a great big fire. Sounds great to me. Enjoy.
