I had been planning on doing one row of triangles at a time and had managed to complete 11 of 13 in the bottom row, but got stuck with the two that remained. When I finally sat down a couple of days ago to work on the quilt again, I decided to leave them for later and to spend my time now working on the triangles that won't make me tear my hair out.
As I result, here is "TR1, Spanish Moss", a beginner-level paper-pieced triangle. Perhaps this has now primed the pump and I'll have another triangle to show soon.

You know that sometimes life just moves along and before you know it no sewing has happened. But we then get back to it eventually and it feels so good. It looks really great too!
It's what happens when we've had the summer of glorious weather, lots of sunshine, lots of visiting, lots of friends...I ususally get a couple of quilts done at the cottage...not this year, not even finished my nine patch yet and we are almost ready to close up.
University for a granddaughter makes me feel so happy and wish I was back to those heady days!
We had power blackouts from Earl, so there I was all set up to sew, press when out went the power. Six hours later, it's cold, windy and I've lost the sewing feeling when we get lights!
Not to worry Anya, you will catch-up. Getting Nick to college, and all other activities were higher on your list for the Summer, and they were more important too! We will watch your *Triangle* progress, and cheer you on! Have a great week!
it's been almost 3 months since I touched my triangles - I know I will get back to it but when I do not know :)
