I was very pleased to see that a good number of the quilts on display at the recent Infinite Variety exhibit in New York City had a definite wonkiness to their borders. Makes mine look almost professional.
love it - reminds me of some of my borders - some I have finally just given curved borders all around in the end to make it look like I planned it that way! Karen http://karensquilting.com/blog/
I'm pleased to join the group and admit to wonky borders now and then. I'm sure quiltmakers in the past didn't worry too much about having perfect borders, and I'm getting to the point where it doesn't bother me as much as it used to. Life's too short to worry about the quilt border police.
My husband Gary and I live just outside of Wellsboro, PA. We left the rat race of Northern Virginia in 1997 and never looked back. Oh yes, did I mention that I am a quiltoholic?

I'll agree with you Anya, I was at a show recently as well and saw lots of wonky borders.
