My Christmas present to me was time -- time to work on another triangle. This one is "LS5, Olympic Torch", an advanced-level triangle which I mostly paper pieced except for that little half-circle. It's sewn on using the raw-edge machine-buttonhole stitch method of applique.

as I've said before they all look 'advanced level' piecing to me! you're really getting close and your count down made me want to yell

OH MY GOODNESS!! You're that close to being done?? The final countdown has indeed begun. I had to look closely for the circle. It's a lovely block.
