Progress

The top two rows of blocks are now quilted. There are way too many seams and my experience in free motion in teeny tiny blocks is limited, so I'm going for minimal quilting -- just enough to give the blocks some dimension. A bit wonky in spots, but finished is better than perfect. Perfection is over-rated, anyway...

Yes, perfection is over-rated! I think that you are doing the right thing choosing to do it minimally anyway. It is/will be gorgeous!

From what I can see from where I'm sitting, it looks great! Just keep quilting!

Hi Anja,
Looking good, perfection is overrated, we can only do the best we can and your best is looking pretty good. Keep it up.

Keep it up, you're doing great! Just the right take on the quilting, too; lots of littles makes perfect sense with this quilt. I'm guessing you will feel MUCH more confident about your freemotion after playing with all these nifty designs!

If and when I ever decide to finish some version of my DJ, I know I'll do similar quilting -- not too much, just enough to accent the design of each block. Your quilting looks great!
It's wonderful, seeing that you're at this stage of your DJ. Steady pace -- it'll be done before you know it.
