I'm in the middle of a couple of weeks that are packed with meetings, many having to do with quilting or the MLQG's exhibit; if I really must go to meetings, I'd much rather they be about quilting than anything else, so I'm not complaining.
So, in honor of all those meetings, here is "D-7 Meeting Place", a beginner-level paper-pieced block.

OK Anya you have taken me over the edge -- I must have the DJ patterns, I have fallen in love :>D !! Do tell please do you have the software, the book or both, and if I may be so bold where would I purchase the needed patterns for the awesome DJ blocks? I have some Civil War fabrics just begging to be made into DJ blocks!! Thanks and please continue sharing your talents!
Yes, I use the software to print the paper piecing patterns and the templates for applique. I do not have the book, but I do know some fellow quilters who are making the blocks by copying the blocks in the book. I think the software makes things much easier. The book and software can be bought through any store that sells quilting books -- if you search online, you'll probably find lots of places that will sell you either one or both. Good luck and thanks for the nice words about my blocks.
