I have been following that blog for awhile now and when I saw that posted I thought OMG, how can anyone have that much - but then to be so organized too is cool, but boy she doesn't need to do anymore shopping!! maybe she needs to insure her basement :) Karen http://karensquilting.com/blog/
Yep I saw that when she posted to Stash Manicure, and at first I was envious (of her organization) and then decided I should do that, and quickly realized my envy did not clear the space for me to organize to that degree or buy more fabric. So I will just ADMIRE what she shared, and hopefully become organized over time :>) to a smaller degree!! It was pretty to look at *sigh*!
I showed my husband - shut him up good! ;) Told him not to complain about my stash or I'd let it get that big just to spite him. He is a good sport tho.
Who will inherit the problem of getting rid of it all? And, since light affects the folds in fabric, how does she refold it all? How does she know what she's got even if it's labeled. I don't have that much memory brain left in my head! My 2 ft stash bothers me! Can't even imagine filling up my basement with plastic bins and more bins...when would I sew, just keeping track. Yeah, I agree...show husbands this blog...it will definitely shut them up! OMG!
My husband Gary and I live just outside of Wellsboro, PA. We left the rat race of Northern Virginia in 1997 and never looked back. Oh yes, did I mention that I am a quiltoholic?

NO KIDDING!!!!!! The organization is amazing.
I know! That woman makes me feel so much better about my stash. I have no guilt going clearance fabric shopping today!!
Oh My Goodness! It's like having your own personal fabric store. I would never get any quilting done, I'd be to busy admiring all my fabric! lol
