Some of my readers might remember the saga with my iron that I blogged about
here. Well, I've now had the replacement one for more than a year and so far it has not given me any problems (I hope I haven't just jinxed it). I love it as much as I did when I first got the first one. And surprisingly, I don't hate the auto-off feature as much as I thought I would. If it does turn off, it heats up very quickly and I don't have to waste time waiting for it.
I'm hoping this one will last me for quite a while now....

Best of luck with the new iron. I have to say that I love the auto off feature on mine, because there are times when I have forgotten to unplug the iron and have gone to bed. Thank goodness for the auto off!
good luck with the iron - I just sent for a small iron - to keep in my motorhome. I bring along just enough clothes that sometimes need to be pressed and just enough piecing that needs to be pressed that I wanted one to keep out there but nothing big. This will be the second one - I hope this one will work longer than the last one did!!

I bought one on your recommendation right after you got yours. Mine just went out on Saturday - lights flashing and no heat. It was a great iron while it lasted. I do hope that you have not jinxed yours!!!!
I'm saving info about your iron, in case something happens to mine. I prefer working with recommendations, rather than a random purchase from a store. Is the iron very heavy? I like a little weight in mine--less work for me to do.
Fingers crossed that your iron will last and last and last!
My replacement is still steaming away, and I still like it more than any other iron I've had.
