What's on my design wall today?
Nothing, absolutely nothing...zero, zilch, nada, nothing.
That's because I am determined not to start piecing another quilt top (unless it's an emergency, of course) until I get some of these quilted and bound....
I have seven, count them, seven quilt tops (and one small wallhanging) waiting to be loaded onto my HQ16 and quilted. That's way too many. Things are starting to get out of control. Five of the tops have the backing, batting, and binding all prepared and ready to go.
I really need to get started on them, so I vow to load at least one of them today!

Isn't that just the way it goes?! I have at least that many folded and stacked on shelves in my studio. I hope to get a few loaded next weekend. It makes me happy to see them actually finished. I wonder why I always take so long!
Can't wait to see your end projects!!
No worries, I have about 30 of my own! I say do what your heart desires at the moment!
I know exactly what you mean, I have at least 6 waiting in line to be quilted.

I'm down to only 2 now that need quilting, but earlier this summer I had more. Unfortunately, now my pile of "quilted but not bound" has been growing. I'm waiting for cooler weather to do my binding.
I should make the same vow!
Oh, my. When I saw your quilts hanging there, I jumped up and ran to my closet to compare. Mine are hanging just like that with bindings made, just waiting for me to quilt them. I have only six and I'm a handquilter, so it will take me years to catch up. I'm tryng so hard not to start another quilt.
