You'd think in this day and age we'd have bobbibless machines that used two spools at once, one for the upper thread and one for the lower and they'd run out at the same time!! Off to the drawing board, time to become rich!!!
My husband Gary and I live just outside of Wellsboro, PA. We left the rat race of Northern Virginia in 1997 and never looked back. Oh yes, did I mention that I am a quiltoholic?

Oh yes, that definitely is a bummer for sure!
Diabolical, isn't it? I'm shocked at how frequently that happens to me too! Hope you had a little extra onhand to fill that bobbin one last time.
Anya, I agree!!! It's one of the things that is SO annoying about sewing...the dreaded empty bobbin!

Uggg....I hate it when that happens! Why dont they just make bobbins bigger? And why are they so small anyway?
The only thing worse is when, not only does the bobbin run out but you discover that you don't have quite enough left of that color to finish.
Aaarrghh is right!!!!
equivalent to when you run out of topstitching thread in a garment with only 6 inches to go in the most visible spot.
Oh my, that is a problem! And you are so close, but yet so far to finish...adding my "aaarrrghhh" to everyone else! Have a great week!
